Ye Wang is the Research Associate in WRI Sustainable Investment Program and in Finance Center, She manages green finance and China’s overseas investment related projects and researches. 

Prior to joining WRI, Ye worked as project management intern at the United Nations Environment Program Division of Technology, Industry and Economics in Osaka focusing on national and city level municipal solid waste management. Previously, she also worked on member relations and sustainable development initiatives in a China business council in the regional network of World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

Ye holds an Erasmus Mundus Master in Sustainable Territorial Development from the consortium of University of Padova (Italy), K.U. Leuven (Belgium), University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and Dom Bosco Catholic University (Brazil), specializing in Applied Economics. She also holds dual Bachelor degrees in Journalism and International Finance from Beijing Foreign Studies University in China.
